According to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management web site, illegal drug labs have become a growing problem in Indiana. In 1999, Indiana law enforcement agencies investigated 177 illegal drug labs. Fox59 News made a visit to Essco, Corp. to learn and pass on information to the general public on the capabilities and limitations of PPE for the general public as it concerns the Ebola virus. Ebola – Little is known about Ebola other than it is a virus that can be transmitted from one person to another via contact with an infected person’s bodily fluids. Lead-based paint maybe found on any surface and when it is disturbed during renovation, repair or painting activities, dangerous ammounds of lead dust can be created. Jobs such as demolition, window replacement, opening up walls, etc. can also release accumulated lead dust into the home.
